Softball is such a great sport. You have a good time hanging around with your friends on a nice sunny afternoon. You pick a couple of captains and then they pick their teams. You just hope you’re not the last one picked.

Not everyone can play the game; for one thing you have to be a team player. Just like any sport you have to have the skills and know how to use them. There are a lot of rules to follow.

Whether you have been playing the game a long time or just learning, you know it’s a fun and exciting game. It’s a team sport, the pitcher is not the star of the team, the home run hitter is not the star of the team. It takes teamwork to make the team work.
